Nice review of the H3k - I'd agree that they are high on the list of great-quality machines, but are about the least intuitive machines to operate I've ever encountered. At least your '67 has the tab keys labelled in words. My '64 has 'em labelled with confusing pictograph arrows and broken lines. :D
I really enjoyed this episode of Front Stroke. Makes me think that I should take a break from my junkers and try a nice machine (eg a clean and functional Hermes 3000) for a change.
You'd be amazed what kind of deals are out there. I certainly did not pay the insane $300+ for mine.
